Established in 2004 Quantum Aseptics has been on a journey throughout the years and although our business has changed and adapted one things remains the same, our customers are at the core of everything we do.

Quantum Aseptics is a core part of the Target Healthcare Group – a niche pharmaceutical developer, manufacturer and supplier to the retail pharmacy, hospital, wholesaler, and homecare markets. Within the Group, there are two key businesses – Target Healthcare and Quantum Aseptics.

Quantum Aseptics currently has two compounding facilities – Burnopfield, Co.Durham and Luton with a third site – Belfast opening in 2026. We’re continually investing in capacity, technology, sustainability and innovation across our compounding facilities which are strategically positioned to deliver.

We prepare and supply patient-specific, dose-banded and batch-made aseptically prepared products across a wide range of therapeutic areas for NHS Hospitals and private hospitals, with the core focus is on Chemotherapy and Monoclonal Antibodies (MABs). We excel in responding to short notice and planned requests with an expanding portfolio currently covering over 90 molecules. At our heart are facilities and teams with the highest levels of Quality Assurance owing to 100% rapid gassing isolators, gravimetrics, and digital technology systems. We are fully MHRA approved (GMP & GDP licensed), and NHS framework approved & audited.
We support more than 250 NHS and private hospitals, preparing products six days a week including bank holidays in time for treatments from Monday onwards.
